Linda L. (Lank) Lee, a resident of Hull, formerly of Malden, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was 78.

Born on November 9, 1939 in Melrose, Linda was one of three children of the late Edward T. and Eleanor E. (Fall) Hoyt. Linda was raised in Melrose, and was a proud graduate of Melrose High School. In 1990, Linda and the late Eugene S. Lee were married.

A kind, compassionate and generous woman, Linda loved life. She was always well-liked, sociable, and never judged anyone. Dedicated to her family, she treasured any moments or events spent together with family. Linda and Gene enjoyed yearly visits to Waterville Valley, NH with friends to see the fall foliage. Later in life, she also served as a loving caregiver for Gene.

Linda had a big soft spot for animals, especially cats. She dearly loved all of her cats, especially the late Macy. She spent much of her free time working with Hull Seaside Animal Rescue, an organization that she held close to her heart.

In addition to her family and animals, Linda found great joy in her community. She was happiest at home and treasured her neighborhood where everyone looked out for each other. In her free time, she enjoyed relaxing to a Patriots game or a golf match on TV. She also enjoyed listening to music. Her generosity, kindness, sincerity and unconditional love will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Linda was the beloved wife of the late Eugene S. Lee with whom she shared 22 years of marriage. Loving and devoted mother of Edward J. Perelli, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Woburn, and stepmother of Colleen Thirdgill and her husband Bryant of Hull. Dear sister of the late Carol Walker and her surviving husband Charles of Old Orchard Beach, ME, and the late Eleanor "Dolly" Hoyt. Caring aunt of Charles Walker and his wife Beth, and great-aunt to Chase and Jack Walker, all of Old Orchard Beach, ME.
