She attended Chelsea Public Schools and moved to Wakefield, MA where she raised her family and lived for over 60 years. She worked in food services at Wakefield High School, then went on to work at Analog Devices for many years.

Alice's faith was an anchor in her life, and she was a sixty-year member of the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church. She served on various groups and committees and could always be found volunteering in the kitchen at the various church events. She was also an active member of the Masonic Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star, and was on the Advisory Board of the Rainbow Girls Group.

Outside of church, Alice's great loves were her family, church family, and her friends. She was a social person, and the connections she made with others was her strength. A great listener, Alice could be counted on by anyone to lend an ear and give solid advice.

Alice was exceptionally active in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She could often be found on the sidelines of a sporting event or in the audience of a performance or classroom, proudly cheering on her family.
