Condolence & Memory Journal

I've had the privilege of living next door to Harold Fiebig and family for 15 years. He was a fountain of useful information and always willing to lend a hand or come up with a better solution to the problem at hand. I have fond memories of Harold and his lovely wife Dorothy going out for their lunch dates. Harold was a fountain of helpful information on almost every topic. He was a prolific gardner and there was no household endeavor that he couldn't tackle. He was smart, kind and gentle, and as noted enjoyed dinners out, along with a German beer. He is dearly missed. May he Rest In Peace with Dorothy.

Although my association with Harold was brief, maybe four months, it was very important in defining my work career. I was on my first job, supervising a concrete building project in Harvard Square. Harold was the carpenter foreman for Tucker Concrete Form and I learned so much from him in scheduling items, not just form work items, but all the other trades that became part of the frame. Whenever our company would have a form job, I would hope Harold would be assigned to it, but never again.
My condolences to you. Your Dad was a great man to me.
