Linda -- What a marvel your mother was! I visited her when she was in Bear Hill just several weeks ago and we had such a nice visit. She said she had been thinking about the "kids" a few days prior and then I showed up. Been many years since I was called a kid!! She still had her spark and regardless of any virus considerations, wanted a kiss and hug when I left. I told her I would find her after her release from rehab and would visit but unfortunately I didn't get the chance. But God was good in arranging our visit the end of June. I did let Dick Moores and Joan Kinkead know of her passing and they were saddened but, like me, so pleased that she had the support of her family at the end stage. You will miss her; my mom passed at 99 1/2 also and I think that because I had her physically in my life so long it still pulls my heart strings at times. But the best of your mother resides in you and the traits she passed on to her family. In remembrance and love, Marsha Bibber Carter
