Bud and I were in the writing group at the Reading Public Library for the last couple of years. His poetry always brought joy and inspiration to the group. He will be missed.

I knew Bud to be a kind, generous and always good company neighbor. I always left our conversations wiser for spending time with Bud. He gave me a copy of his book Walking Thoughts and it remains one of my favorite books. A favorite passage You could put us on a planet, God as beautiful as this, but teach us to love it as Your creation and to share it equally with all our brothers and sisters. Let us love one another without reservation. The world is a better place because of Bud. RIP -Bill McAlpine Stonefield Dr neighbor.
