My deepest sympathies to Paul's family. I knew Paul from the field as a fierce competitor and a loyal teammate. There is no one who you would rather have wearing the same laundry as you. He will be sorely missed.

My Sympathy goes to the Crowley Family. Paul was many things, and I knew him as a teammate on the Millers and as a competitor that played against him on the Tigers team in OTB. Paul was a fierce competitor and I would always rather have him on my team because of his effort to win. He was a pleasure to play with and he had a sarcasm in the dugout that always came with a wry smile meaning he was just kidding.
I will miss him. We all will.

My condolences to Paul's family and friends. Although I just met Paul this past year I quickly learned what a great guy he was. Playing against Paul for so many years in OTB I quickly learned what a fierce competitor he was as a teammate. Taken too soon. May he RIP.

My sincere condolences to Paul's children Elizabeth, Matthew, Patrick, and Philip and his many grandchildren and the entire extended family. I had the pleasure of competing against Paul in the Lowell Over 30 Baseball OTB league for 15 years and then playing on the Lowell Millers Over 50 team in the MA/NH NELBL league. Paul was a great pitcher, catcher, 3B and cleanup hitter and a fierce competitor. I caught him when he pitched and he had a great knuckleball. He was my catcher on occasion as well. We got to know each other by working together on strategy but we also spent a lot of time driving together on those Saturday baseball games. I would pick him up at his apartment in Melrose and we'd make the long drive to Concord, NH. I had the pleasure of getting to know Paul well and hear how much he loved his 4 children and all his grandchildren. He took pride in watching them in sporting events and seeing them grow up. Paul loved hockey and football and we had many spirited talks about the Bruins and Patriots. I'll miss those rides without Paul in the passenger seat at miss seeing him at the plate with his lime green jersey with orange #5 on the back. It won't be the same, my friend. Say Hi up there to Francisco Faria, Frank Meisel, Gerry Jeromski, Jim Daly, Kevin Furtado, Howie Shepard, and Mike LaFerriere, our other OTB brothers that are no longer with us. You've got a heck of a team there, I think I see #5 in the cleanup slot again.

My sincere condolences to the Crowley family. I've had the pleasure to spend Saturday afternoons with Paul for the past 5 years playing on the Millers. Of course he was a talented player - pitcher, catcher, 3rd basement, RBI machine, determined baserunner. But more importantly, he was an awesome teammate and person. He was always there to support me and the rest of his teammates (even when I didn't deserve it:-). When you went to battle on the diamond you wanted Paul on your side! God bless Paul and his family

In this difficult time, I hope his family take some comfort in that so many who knew Paul thought he was a wonderful person. I was fortunate to know Paul while catching for him on the Millers. He was very helpful and a great teammate to all of his teammates.

My Deepest Sympathies to Paul's Family and to those closest to him. May fond memories guide you through the time ahead. We were teammates in OTB for many years; Paul was like a rock for us. My respect for Paul continued to grow through those years. Memories of those times will always be with us.

My condolences to the Crowley family. I played in the Lowell over 30 baseball league with Paul for many years. We never played together on a team, but I saw him at league functions, board meetings, and when our teams competed. Paul was such a memorable guy for his love of the game and for his genuine nature and sense of humor. He was always approachable and easy to talk to. I always considered him to be one of the the foundation members that kept the league in tact. I am so saddened to hear about Paul's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. RIP Paul.

I want to be sure to offer the Crowley family my sincere condolences. I had the pleasure of competing against Paul on a ball field in OTB for several years. Paul was a gamer, and was beloved by his wonderful teammates, and respected by his opposition. I want to thank the Crowley family for sharing Paul's time with us, his OTB family. My and my family's thoughts and prayers will be with you. Paul, we tip the cap to you.

My condolences to Paul's family. May the good memories get you through this difficult time. I played over30 baseball with Paul. We did team up one time to play in a baseball tournament out in Arizona where we became friends. We also played a few rounds of golf together and Paul would always be talking about his kids and as time went on, his grandkids. Very proud family man! We shared a lot of laughs and even as time passed and we didn't see each that often, I still considered him a friend. RIP Paul

I was fortunate to play with and against Paul in OTB and on the Millers for many years. We'll fondly remember his love of family, love of the game, his friendship, and his competitive spirit. We had a fun, ongoing debate (for ~20 years) about whether catchers were smarter than pitchers, or vice-versa. RIP, Pauly.

I have known Paul for 20 years, I played baseball with Paul in the New England Legends League for the Lowell Millers and loved having him as a teammate. His family would always be at the games and I know that he loved that. He always talked about his grandchildren, I loved his smile and his skill as a leader was unmatched. Rest in Peace and I hope heaven as a baseball diamond for you.

I played baseball with Paul in the Lowell area Over 30 adult baseball league. Paul was a fine catcher and a very clutch hitter who was a real competitor. Paul will be remembered by everyone that he played with and against as a fine guy who played to win. I send my extreme sympathy to his entire family.
